CARRIER Rooftop Air Conditioners – Ready Solution “All-in-One”
Rooftop Air Conditioners are a cost-effective solution for air-conditioning of supermarkets, hypermarkets, warehouse and industrial facilities. Such systems are usually placed on the roof of buildings. Due to their compact size and low weight they are not expensive to install. To ensure their functioning, the units must be connected to the air ducts system and existing electricity mains.
On their design the Rooftop Air Conditioners are made as aircooled condenser chillers with the integrated high-pressure fan on the evaporator side for exhaust and supply of cooling air to the premises. In actual fact, this refrigerating machine and a supply and exhaust air-handling unit in a single package, operated by a microprocessor controller with optimal algorithm to maintain the specified parameters in the room.
In addition to cooling, rooftops are able to heat the air during the transition and winter. This is achieved due to the built-in reversible refrigeration cycle. If necessary, is available an add-on package of water or electric heaters. There are also models with heating from a gas burner that can use natural gas or liquid propane.
CARRIER ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES
The new series of the Carrier 48UA/ UH and 50UA/UH Rooftop Air Conditioners has incorporated the most advanced technologies developed by Carrier for the many years of research and upgrades of air conditioning equipment. These models are built on a modern base of Aquasnap chillers, already well proved in the market.
The refrigerant circuit is arranged on high-performance scroll compressors mounted on an independent frame with vibration isolators. In most models applies dual circuit with complete decoupling on freon and electrical components. This maintains operability of the system even in the case of failure of one circuit. The newly designed refrigerant connection pipes with zero potential leakage are tested on a shaker to prevent untightness during transportation.
The units have a range of proprietary meaningful design elements to achieve high levels of energy efficiency both at peak and part loads. Pro Dialog + Adaptive control system constantly monitors the workload changes, trying to provide the required cooling capacity with optimum number of compressors.
Specially designed the axial Flying Bird fans made of the fourth generation composite materials. They have a low noise level and low power consumption. Due to the aggregate of the technologies, the greater part of a new line units belong to energy efficiency classes A and B according to the Eurovent system classification.
