Three masterpieces created by the outstanding American architect of the 20th century Eero Saarinen (1910–1961), including the famous St. Louis Gateway Arch are included in the list of “America’s Favorite Architecture”, which was prepared by the American Institute of Architects in 2007 and comprises the 150 most popular buildings and structures in the United States. Eero Saarinen created not only civil works, but amazing architectural sculptures for which he was called “the last Great” American architect.
