Dekon Windows – Natural Classics
How do wooden windows differ from the PVC windows? In the same way as natural milk differs from the powder one and Chinese silk and linen from synthetics. The PVC windows no longer reflect the high public profile of the real estate item and its owners. Though quite recently, just a couple of decades ago few people could afford them. PVC windows in a flat or a house were often indicative of success and material wealth of their owners. But things have changed…
In keeping with the current fashion for healthy lifestyle and consumption of natural products, Russian customers more and more often opt for environmentally friendly building materials and structures. Apparently, in future they will only increase in number. In this respect Russia follows Europe to a certain extent, where the PVC windows are mostly installed in offices. When it comes to residential houses – then the share of wooden windows in Germany, Norway and Finland, for instance, is 70%, and in Sweden – 76 %.
Until recently high quality wooden window constructions on the domestic market were principally delivered from European countries. This autumn woodworking integrated enterprise DEKON, which is part of the industrial complex of the Concern KROST, well-known on the domestic construction market, is starting a wooden euro windows manufacturing plant in the Moscow area. In the estimation of specialists, due to its output the new plant will become the major manufacturer of translucent structures from laminated lumber not only in our country, but in Europe as well. The production capacity of the enterprise is 10 thousand sq. m. of window units per month – unique figures.
On the one hand it may seem that the market segment, connected with window production, is practically overflowing. The number of enterprises offering translucent structures is growing all the time. However, the overwhelming majority of these companies produce double-glazed PVC windows, whose sole competitive advantage is the lower price in comparison with the natural produce. Without doubt, it is much easier to win a customer’s heart by offering them a product at a relatively low price. Competition has harsh laws. Unfortunately, the winner is not always the one who manufactures the most durable, reliable and environmentally friendly product of highest quality.
