Montreal celebrated its 375th birthday in 2017, with the inauguration of several “legacy” projects. One of these was a new park located only steps away from the city’s Botanical Garden and its iconic Olympic Stadium. Named after Italian-born artist Guido Nincheri, the park was part of a much larger urban scheme, which included the widening of the Botanical Garden’s entrance and the radical transformation of a busy traffic intersection. It was also designed as a symbolic gateway to Espace pour la vie (Space for Life), a highly popular cluster of facilities dedicated to life sciences exhibitions.

Мастер-план и архитектурное проектирование застройки района Аль-Сиф выполнены международной архитектурной практикой 10 DESIGN. Проект оживил эту территорию, превратив ее в современное общественное пространство, насыщенное коммерческими и развлекательными функциями.

luca cerullo architects has developed the integrated strategy for the urban and landscaping requalification of the coastal strip of Capaccio Paestum (13km) on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea (province of Salerno, Italy). The objective is to reorganise infrastructure to facilitate sustainable accessibility and collective mobility, promoting comprehensive development, diversification of tourism and valuation of vocational aspects.

Он находится всего лишь в 15 минутах езды на автомобиле от центра нидерландской столицы и в трех минутах – от амстердамского аэропорта Схипхол, одного из крупнейших в Европе. Очень скоро Гайд-парк станет популярным местом проживания в столичном регионе благодаря своему выгодному расположению и градостроительной концепции, разработанной нидерландским архитектурным бюро MVRDV, известным своими проектами высококачественного жилья и коммерческих объектов.

The French firm Manuelle Gautrand Architecture designed nine residential buildings for the Hyde Park district in Hoofddorp (urban agglomeration of Amsterdam), which master plan was produced by MVRDV. The 400 homes are divided into nine buildings that make up “thematic” houses, and are organized around a landscaped island core. Each house is the object of a different architectural work, in its colors, its materials, its heights, its volumes, etc. Overall cohesion has been maintained under this apparent diversity, in order to create a harmonious “village” favoring well-being together.

Located inside the limits of the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough and built on the brownfields of the storied Angus Shops. The CPR Angus Shops in Montreal were a railcar manufacturing, repairing and selling facility of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The most of its production consisted of passenger cars, freight cars and locomotives. Built in 1904, and named for founder, Richard B. Angus, the Angus Shops was decommissioned in 1992 and the underlying lands subsequently redeveloped for commercial, industrial and housing uses. The Technopôle Angus is a real estate complex with a mission to create jobs in Montreal.

The Chicago Riverwalk is an open, pedestrian waterfront located on the south bank of the Chicago River in downtown Chicago, Illinois. It spans from Lake Shore Drive to Lake Street. The Riverwalk contains restaurants, park-seating, boat rentals, and other activities. Transforming derelict infrastructure, the 1.25-mile Chicago Riverwalk represents a new chapter for the city’s public space and the reinvention of urban life. Catalyzing the slow-rolling transformation of the city’s neglected spaces and the remnants of its industrial heyday, the Chicago Riverwalk is an achievement of 15 years of planning and construction. This project has activated the city’s waterfront and generated a wealth of economic, recreational, and ecological benefits.

Represented approach for a small commercial re-development in downtown Toronto questions what street retail can be in the twenty-first century – more specifically, in dense, mixed-use urban neighbourhoods undergoing massive change. Acting on the public realm by giving public spaces back to the city, the proposal called The Mews merges civic and commercial life.

Make Architects has completed work on its London Wall Place project, a new commercial scheme offering the largest set of public gardens developed in the City of London since the post-war brutalist Barbican estate on behalf of Brookfield Properties and Oxford Properties. The scheme comprises two office buildings surrounded by extensive public realm including a series of public gardens and reimagined elevated pedestrian walkways to link the neighbouring Barbican with the City of London.

In 2018, Dutch Nijmegen bears the title of European Green Capital. This is the oldest city in the Netherlands, the first mention of which dates back to the beginning of the I century AD. Today, being one of the largest inland ports and having a developed industry, it clearly follows the path of sustainable development. A dynamic city has emerged from a turbulent history to act as a role model for a cleaner Europe. A new green economy, innovative ecological management, sustainable mobility practices, energy projects and unique models of housing have contributed to Nijmegen being at the forefront of Europe’s sustainability movement.
